Nora is a high-fidelity Single-Ended (SE) Class A stereo tube amplifier, created for listeners who seek truth, spatial depth, and emotional presence in music. Designed and built in Latvia, it employs point-to-point wiring, one of the purest and most precise construction methods in tube audio. 

Point-to-Point Wiring Provides:

Construction:

• Chassis:
  • The chassis is crafted from solid zebrano, solid oak, and plywood, ensuring high mechanical rigidity and effective resonance control. These natural materials not only enhance acoustic stability but also give the amplifier a unique, individual character.

  • Metal elements and hardware provide structural strength and visual balance, combining classic tube-audio aesthetics with modern, restrained minimalism. The openly displayed tubes and confident proportions emphasize the amplifier’s technical quality and functional beauty.

• Tubes:
  • Power stage: Two 6C41C — exceptionally powerful triodes with very low internal resistance and excellent current-handling capability. The 6C41C was developed in the second half of the 20th century for professional and military equipment, where high stability, substantial power reserves, and linear performance under demanding conditions were essential. In the audio world, this tube has become a true “hidden gem” in SE designs, thanks to its ability to deliver higher output power without compromising sound quality.  
  • Driver: Two 6Ж4 tubes - belonging to the pentode family. The 6Ж4 was developed in the mid-20th century as a high-sensitivity, low-noise tube for radio and communication equipment. Its stability and precision made it well suited for audio driver stages, where clear and controlled signal drive is required for output tubes.
