Power Stage: Two Г-811 tubes - Г-811 (read more in the blog) is a high-power directly heated triode originally developed in the 1940s (U.S. equivalent – 811/811A) for radio transmitters and high-frequency equipment. It was later widely manufactured in the USSR and used in industrial and communication systems. Today, the Г-811 is commonly found in high-power tube audio amplifiers, especially in Single-Ended (SE) and sometimes Push-Pull configurations. In audio applications, this tube can deliver relatively high output power (compared to classic audio triodes) while maintaining the linear characteristics typical of triodes.
Preamp Stage: Two EF86 – developed in the 1950s as a low-noise signal pentode specifically designed for audio preamplification. It has been widely used in studio equipment, microphone preamps, and high-end hi-fi amplifiers (for example, in classic British designs).
Driver: Two 6Ф6М1 – the 6Ф6М1 is a USSR-made version of the classic 6Ф6 (6F6) power pentode, originally developed in the 1930s, with the M1 variant produced later as an improved and more stable version. It was widely used in radios, tape recorders, and early audio amplifiers as an output tube.
